Have you decided to build an international business, but have no one in-house to launch it?

We plan and run the full launch: develop the strategy, launch operations, build the group structure, and lead the project through to an operating business run by your team

About us

We are entrepreneurs. Since 1999, we have been launching, growing and selling companies across international markets. We have built and sold startups in the US, Europe and the Middle East, established investment funds, and managed capital at Rothschild & Co and TrueNorth Capital, with over €200 billion in assets under management.

Our projects include an InsurTech startup in New York that raised $32 million, a CleanTech fund in Ireland, and more than 60 businesses launched in 18 countries.

That experience adds up to a rare competence: building international businesses that become liquid assets. In a full-cycle engagement, we act as managing partners for the launch: we make decisions with you, fill management roles, and take responsibility for organising the launch, establishing the management framework, and bringing the project to working operations that your team can take over.

When you need the full cycle

You have decided to expand internationally and have the resources to launch. Your team is busy with the existing business, the company has yet to build experience in international launches, and hiring for the new venture is both premature and difficult: the roles needed will only become clear with the strategy, and few people have the relevant experience. In this situation, we take on both strategy development and execution, leading the project as managing partners.

What we take on:

  • Strategy development: markets, business model, financial model and legal architecture
  • Organising the entire launch, from the first decisions to working operations
  • The roles of chief operating officer, chief financial officer and, where needed, chief technology officer for the new venture, until permanent hires are in place
  • Negotiations with partners, providers and lawyers in the target jurisdictions
  • Hiring and training the team that will continue without us

Scope and responsibilities

An international launch is expensive, takes time and comes with no guarantees: we are building a new business in an unfamiliar market. That is why we make clear from the outset what stays on your side.

  • You lead sales at the start: no one knows the product better than the owner. We design the commercial function, help hire people, and build the sales system with your team
  • We bring in contractors for specific marketing tasks
  • Lawyers in the relevant jurisdictions come from our partner network. Their work is paid for separately
  • You fund the launch. We are responsible for organising the work and managing the project
